DC Designs recently unveiled the Avanti Supercar, which is India’s first Supercar. Well, to be honest, the San Storm should take that honour. I know the San Storm was a sports car but still I digress. If a car is a first, it should be unique but the Avanti looks confused. DC designed the front keeping Ferrari in mind but ended up thinking about the Porsche Panamera when he reached the rear. I say so, because the styling is certainly confused. In fact DC himself realized how he messed up the rear, that the press release did not have pictures of the rear of the car! Now since the MotorBeam team has a thing for pictures, we snapped the Avanti in all her glory right in the sun, so before I continue my rant, I leave it to you to tell me if the Avanti could have been less confused!
Other than the Avanti Supercar, DC Designs also showcased some other modified vehicles. Now try and make a guess what car is underneath?

First is a Scorpio. Possibly Bolero.
Second is a Tata Safari

Btw, all these cars looks ugly. DC has an ugly sense of external styling. Its not even whackily weird. He should stick to moding interiors.
I know I shouldn’t tell this, but in my opinion, the Blue Fortuner’s front looks awful :-(

Finally, somebody sees the light! Yes the Avanti is a confused soul, a mishmash of all things beautiful, and the very sight of the car sets my blood boiling thinking of what it COULD have been. Thank you for the unbiased and honest post!
The YELLOW car is actually nice….front light….and specially hinges….

The Yellow one looks like a jeep, based on its bonnet and headlamps position, possibly Thar.
Oh man they have really left no stone unturned to f#&k the thar, looks the worst aftermarket jobs ever done, even the local fellas do it better and evn fr cheaper.

Wonder if he even has a REAL Degree from Art Center College of Design, USA.
Coz there are brilliant car designers and modifiers from the same college, that make practicle cars.
Guys like Shiro Nakamura designer of latest Infinity, Willie G. Davidson Sr. VP and Cheif Stylist of Harley-Davidson and another gr8 american n very famous Chip Foose.
