A new European marketing campaign from Fiat is one of the coolest we have seen in recent times. In an effort to underscore the safety of the Fiat 500 for both the occupants and animals, Fiat has unleashed a new series of images depicting the retro hatchback in various crash test scenarios.
The interesting part comes from the car’s occupants, which includes a panda bear, a walrus and a couple of penguins. The Fiat 500 has the lowest carbon emission in all of Europe with just 133.7 grams of C02 per kilometer.

Yo! – FAS – its obvious they are not real creatures….. FAS help me understand how does this ad campaign justify lower impact on carbon emissions by showing animals which are endangered, doesn’t make sense – you seem to be knowing a thing or two, please help us understand….
I am a Fiat fan too – does not mean i would take anything they have to offer….

Nishant, I think they want to say the emission are so low that it won’t affect animals in any way. I am not quite sure what they are trying to potray but they also mean that the car is not on safe for humans but also for the animals and the species on earth.

hahaha cool! Ad is very funny…for me it doesn’t mean animal cruelty. Maybe it just signifies safety for humans as well as for animals. I agree it must mean emission is low, it won’t affect mother earth including its creatures.

hey, FAS – my point is they could had left it without them showing as crash test dummies….. like the panda cruising down the street.. waving at the girls (panda females) on the side walks….or made them penguins sip some arctic beer and drive them down the highway….. with a green mountain background —– these pities are already endangered you wanna put them in the car and make them crash dummies…. what why why why ??? Italian brain working overtime?

Nishant, well I guess the people responsible for the ads are Fiats ad agency. BTW your idea of advertising is really sweet, are you working with any ad agency?

At a Rs. 13 lakh price tag, it is easy to ridicule that car, but, if it were to come at the price say, a Swift, it would have had other names for breakfast, dinner, and lunch.
