this car is still sluggish… this is not the most powerful diesel hatchback in the country… not even on paper… the fastest would be the i20 diesel… thanks to the gearing, the punto 90 still takes more than 15 seconds to the ton… it has been tested by autocar too… Fit this on a swift… it would be a rocket :P

The Punto handles way better than the i20 and is an all around better car than the i20. 90 bhp gives you more driveability in both upper and lower end of the rpm.

if you guys are talking about diesel not petrol then punto is far ahead than i20 thou Hyundai has better service than fiat .well in every aspect punto is better .i test drove both the cars .the biggest problem i found with i20 is the lower torque on low rpms.the car just fails there when it comes to power n handling is concerns .at the other end punto 90hp is amazing when it comes to torque n power .the car handles vary good the dynamics are superb.over all when it comes to diesel hatchbacks i say go for maruti ritz or fiat punto .ritz is just grate value for money and punto is grate when its comes to driving.
