Since the past few days, there has been alot of news floating on the web about the launch of the Grande Punto Sports. We got in touch with Marius D’lima Head – Corporate Communications (Fiat India) and he told us that the the new variant of the Punto will not be launched on the 17th of June. The company is yet to decide a date for the launch of the much awaited Punto Sports but we have been told it will most likely be launched in early July.

i think it will go a tad above 7 lacs considering that the current emotion pack retails for around 6.5 ex-showroom.
sunroof + better engine + different interiors + different headlamps and tailamps + few minor changes in the body + great looking alloys + the stupid looking decals would definitely push the price in the 7.25 to 7.5 bracket.
on road it will be a quiet an expensive hatch.
now only if they can come up with a pricing somewhere close to the i20, then we have a winner in out hands..
