Fiat India will launch the first Punto facelift in the country with the launch of the Punto Evo. The Grande Punto was launched in June, 2009 and was doing decent numbers. However off-late the car is not selling that well and the 2011 Punto would definitely help Fiat gain volume in the premium hatchback segment. The Punto Evo gets a slight design revision to both front and rear, but the side is untouched (except the new alloys). The interiors are vastly improved with everything new except the fantastic steering wheel which has been carried down from the previous version. There will be no changes to the engines but we hope to see the Multi-air motors in the new car. Wishful thinking, we know!

fas when this car is going to launch, do you have any information about in which month this car will launch. Cause I am going to buy a new car & priority is to Punto.
I heard that facelifted Punto means just changes in interiors instead of Black and Gray it will be Black and Beige alike Linea.
Are you sure that Punto EVO is coming to INDIA>
Kedar, the Punto Evo is confirmed. They will not launch beige interiors in the Punto as that would negate the difference between the Punto and Linea. I suggest you wait till June. Some awesome hatchbacks coming our way.
FAS thank you so much for your reply. I owned 1.2 Emotion Punto & I sold it on last Saturday. Now I am again looking for Diesel Punto 90HP or a used Linea. Please keep posting news about the Punto EVO to your portal.

currently own punto 75 bhp, will deffenetly switch to punto evo if they are in 1.6 multijet engine
