Ford Cuts Car Prices

Ford Motor’s Indian unit has cut prices of its cars by 17,500 to 54,000 rupees. The government on Sunday announced a 4 percent cut in central value-added tax on all products other than petroleum, as part of a stimulus package to boost the slowing economy. The Fusion petrol plus is now cheaper by Rs. 18,500 to Rs. 6.18 lacs the Fiesta diesel becomes cheaper by Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 7.8 lacs and the Endeavour is cheaper by Rs. 54,000.
