Ford India has upgraded the ZXi variants of its Fiesta at no additional cost to the customer. The ZXi is now available with ABS (with Electronic Brake Distribution) standard as well as front fog lamps and an MP3 player.
“It has always been our endeavour to provide our customers with exceptional value”, said Ford India’s Executive Director for Marketing, Sales and Service. “These enhancements are in line with our overall product strategy to provide best in class offerings”.
The upgraded petrol ZXi has been priced at Rs 6.34 lakhs while the diesel variant is available for Rs 7.32 lakhs (prices are ex-showroom Delhi). The new upgrade brings the number of Fiesta variants with ABS standard up to five. Ford had earlier offered the feature standard on its SXi variants as well as its 1.6 S variant.

Pranav, both the variants are good. The petrol is fun to drive whereas the diesel is economical to run.

I hav heard frm many ppl dat if we don hav a runnin of more den 20-30 km daily den it is nt suggested to buy a diesel car.
and does diesel engine requires more maintanance den da petrol?
basically my aim is economic drivin and a bit of pleasure.
and per day my run is around 5-10 km,so should i go for fiesta 2005-2006 diesel varient or petrol?

Pranav, all that is nonsense. That was the thinking with old gen diesel. Todays diesels don’t need any minimum number of kms daily and maintenance is slightly higher but the savings in fuel costs is much higher. Drive both the diesel and petrol and choose the one which you enjoy more.
