The Ford Figo has been impressive right from the word go and Ford is having a tough time managing the increasing number of bookings. Most of you have seen and driven the Figo but for those of you who haven’t, we are kicking off the blogger’s drive by introducing the Figo to you.
The Figo is available in both petrol and diesel versions and the car is loaded with smart features all around. This hatch looks young owing to Ford’s choice of bright vibrant colors. Its is stable at high speeds and safety features such as ABS, airbags, rear defogger and wiper are standard on the top variants. Few of these features are listed below.
- Bluetooth connectivity with the audio system.
- Aux support for ipod connectivity.
- Lane change indicator that can be flicked once instead of locking and unlocking the stock.
- Rapid deceleration warning to the driver’s behind in case of an emergency braking situation.
- Electronic boot release.
- Automatic defogger cutoff.
- Programmable keyless entry.
- Electrically operated outside rear view mirrors.
- 6 speed intermittent wipers.
- Speed sensing volume controls which increases and decreased the volume based on the speed of the car.
- Best in class Boot space.
- Vibrant colors.
- Very effective airconditioning. (We have tried this in 40 degress Mumbai heat and it works perfectly)
- Comfortable ride and sharp handling.

Nice. I like the safety features of the figo. its gets really difficult driving in mumbai rains without a rear wiper and defogger. i am suffering as i own a swift top end diesel and it does not have rear wipers, defogger and airbags. Appreciate fords commitment to safety. i think the figo’s big boot should be the ideal place for me to get cosy with my better half :)

1.the over all feature is awesome to me but if you want me to choose one then i would say the driving ability in it.it is just superb feeling to drive in it.you would feel it like your driving fiesta or any higher range car.
2.common the long and the sleak and muscular design of the car is enough to impress my girl n even the simple good looking interior

ipod connectivity is my fav feature. I am a music buff and this makes it easy for me to carry my music on a single device rather than burning cd’s for the car separately. A romantic playlist along with a slow drive along the winding roads of a foggy hill stn would be a perfect idea to set up the mood. Red would be my colour of choice for the Figo. :)

It’s an awesome car, all the features are designed for generation next and it comes with the best boot space, fresh & young look in its segment.
For me the best feature is Rapid deceleration warning system which aims at joyous and safe drive. Accidents hurt but safety doesn’t, that’s the mantra of fantastic Ford Figo :)

I wonder why the other things are good in this car but the dashboard plastic quality is damn low…instead they increased some bugs and gave a good quality dashboard

I think the comfy ride and handling of the figo appeals to me the most.This is what most big cars possess so its fantastic to taste it in a hatch.Probably dip my figo wheels in ink and draw out a heart for my girl with its precision handling.

It’s a very charming car, I like most of its features, the most appealing one is Bluetooth, it helps me to listen to music from my mobile and laptop and I can use it as handsfree for my incoming and outgoing calls.
#2: I would take her to explore new shopping malls and roads, which most girls love to do it.

Q1. Which feature of the Figo appeals to you the most and why?
The iPod connectivity appeals the most to me as I like to listen to music where ever I go and I hate it if I have to be at the whims and fancies of an RJ. I like to carry my music where ever I go and the Figo lets me do that. A Rs. 30 AUX cable and I can browse through 160GB of songs sitting in the rear bench of my car when the driver navigates through the crazy traffic in Mumbai.
Q2. How would you use the Figo to impress your boyfriend/girlfriend?
To impress my boyfriend I would simply hand over the keys of my Figo to him and send him to a track where he can enjoy the handling of the car. Honestly I am not much into cornering and G-forces but of all the cars I have driven I find the Figo very agile and happy to take corners with ease.
Just my two cents and my perspective might differ from others as I use my car to travel and am not much of a car buff, but hey I love cars as they give alot of comfort and luxury. Plus they are a status symbol :)

I don’t know much driving and neither do I drive on a regular basis but I checked out the Figo (my boy friend has one and although the car did not impress me initially but now has started to, more on that later).
I am a shopping freak and my second home is Inorbit mall. I just cant stay at home, so at any time either I am touring around with my boyfriend (his Figo diesel gives a mileage of 18 kmpl on the highways, so its economical for us to do a few trips in a month) around the state or shopping pointlessly for stuff which I really don’t need :p
The Figo really impressed me when I shopped alot and was wondering if I would have to stuff some bags on the seat of the Figo but the boot was huge enough to swallow everything.
I can’t answer the second question as my boyfriend Adil has been trying to impress me with his Figo since day one. And yes finally I am impressed.
Adil has a red figo with black interiors, although I like that coral thing on the dashboard and have offered Adil if I could paint it for him. He refused saying he would break up and I never discussed about the coral colour from that day onwards.
If I buy a Figo I would like to get a white one with red wheels and pink interiors, Ford are you listening can we have a limited womens edition?

I own a Wagon R and find the Figo to be sturdy and better built then the Maruti I own. I want to know how does the Figo compare to its competitors.

2. How would you use the Figo to impress your boyfriend/girlfriend?
1) The Car has all the features required for new generation car and is considered value for money that’s why there are 25,000 sales and still going strong .
The feature which appeals to me is the boot space because it gives a nice feel for starting i.e opening of tail gate with a small buttoned switch to the Best in class boot space is this segment which is the major USP of the Product
2)The punchline itself will impress my wife as I am a married man ,Feel the diffrence beacuse it is smart & smarter car

bluetooth connectivity is the best, no tension of getting caught by the police while on the phone. i think i will utilise the roomy interiors to make my girl feel at home.. :)

Ford Figo is a very impressive & concept car of many people.It has so many peculiar features which are found only in very costly cars.Its strong body and design is so attractive.I can not express its unlimited features here but i will say “East or West Ford Figo is Best”.

without having to use my hands. today, this is a very important safety aspect. So many accidents are happening because of people talking on the mobiles while driving.

Have you seen the ad where Papa wishes the daughter Happy B’day on the bluetooth. The girl is so impressed with the boy. This exactly reflects my sentiments. My wife & kids love the connectivity.

Bluetooth pairing system is something which impressed me the most … apart from that i liked the seating comfort, the steering size and the rear view mirror, which can be tilted for lesser reflection while driving at night … my gal likes the car because of obvious reason that i drive it :) as soon as she gets into the car she disconnectes my phone, connects her phone and starts playing her music thru her phone !! i am very possessive about my car i dont like her doing that !!

I have maruti wagorR and some of the features in it are really not present in it which I love in Ford Figo. The contemporary design is awesome and looks very desirable. Also some of the features are stunning besides the good interiors and the quality of plastic material used. I like the feature of warning in case of slowing too rapidly, four door power windows, electronically adjustable side view mirrors, blue tooth connectivity, and the powerful airconditioner, ABS, large wheels. The milelage of the Diesel model is irresistible. So Thats my next car hopefully !

Me and ownership of my figo was a bigggggggg Dream come true….
Since last 3 years there has been an intention to own a 4 wheeler but somehow i have been postponing it with some or other excuse but tis year finally my husband decided that come what may be we had to own a car. Finally I succembed to his adamancy. So we set out for a seach of a good car.
After many thoughts and arguments, My husband wanted to go for a Sedan with a limited budget and booked an Indigo CS but all of a sudden while the IPL was going on we saw the advt of For Figo and was thinking about should we give a thought of changing our choice and this took away 15 more days. Now it was the Mid week of April, we went for a test ride of Figo on 19th April and fell in love with it and decided to withraw our booking for Indigo CS and book for Figo
Now out next target was to get our FIgo on 5th May – our Anniversary but those were the days when Figo was on 2 month waiting… I did not want a white, My husband did not want a silver or Chill, My family did not want me to go for a black (being our first Car).
We wanted to have the car delivered at our doorsteps on 5th may (Car booked on 21st April)with all the our choices on colours. from 22nd April to 4th May – those were the days when there was a silent war going on between me & my husband.
Finally we were desitned to own a Figo so managed to get a squeeze figo – the first choice of my kids and today we are proud owner of a figo who would soon be 3 months old and i would be taking her for her 1st vaccination on 6th may. May god bless you with a long and healthy life – figo!

The car is truly a “wow” and awfully attractive.
Besides the looks the car offers best features at a lower price vis-a-vis its cometitors. Viz. It gives best milage and and it is the cheapest car in its category. Just value for money. Ford figo EXi could well be called Ford Freego.

The features list of the figo is impressive. But what is most impressive is the fact that Ford has managed to price the car very well. Nowadays most hatchbacks are having ABS, Airbags and the likes but what matters is that car should be competitively priced and not cost an arm or leg.

1. Out of all the amazing features ford has been able to pack in this trendy little FIGO from the smoked headlights, fog lamps, defogger, wipers and the amazing MUSIC SYSTEM :D
My personal favorite would be its blue-tooth connectivity in the music system.. this just ends the problem of writing CD’s n editing songs on the pen drive etc.. just jump in n start playing d music of ur choice right from d phone n attend all d calls directly without having to pick up the phone :P
this seriously works wonders for me coz i have like 1000′s of songs to play n too many people to talk to :P

2. impressing my bf with my ford figo would not be that big a deal because my figo is much more impressive than my bf anyways :P
my figo has so many impressive features that my bf was already impressed by just the AIR CONDITIONING.. which just BLEW HIM AWAY when i switched it on to the 4th blower.. it was even better than his Audi A4 :P (poor baby)

Which feature of the Figo appeals to you the most and why?
according to me, the speed sensing volume controls does appeal a lot.. most of the car we see around doesn’t carry this. at least mine doesn’t. such a cool feature. the harder i press the pedal, the volume increases automatically. cool.. i wont miss a piece of music.. love it guys.. Ford has realized that this car has to reach all sets of people.. mainly music lovers.. after all, the only thing that gives us peace is music in bumper to bumper traffic. thanks ford..

Oh, impressing my girl friend? no need of it.. the looks of figo will do this job once my girl friend sees it.. i really love that bluetooth kit.. really a nice one.. the advertisement for it was lovely.. and its compatibility with audio will make me to play songs according to the situation.. it will really help me in getting pretty sweet things.. :) :P
