Its been 24 hours and still no clue about the whereabouts of our Figo. The police are still investigating and are suspecting an inside job. Yeah right!! We know the thief got in the car and drove away, so it had to be an inside job right?
Life has to move on and we cant mourn the loss of our Figo forever especially since Ford has been kind enough to supply us another variant. However, before we move on, we would like to dedicate this video to our stolen car. It holds some sentimental value as its the last video we shot with her.
This time we decided to take the Figo out for a spin at night. The empty roads at night were an absolute contrast to the bustling city life in the day. Night drives are always special, not much traffic, cool breeze, the only time you can safely roll your windows down without inhaling the toxic plumes of smoke from the adjacent truck.
Light music is the perfect companion for a night drive. Its sets an atmosphere for a relaxing driving experience. We did a couple of laps on the Palm Beach road and light rain was the perfect icing on the cake. Visibility got a bit poor but the rear wiper and defogger came to the rescue.
Surprisingly, a night drive can de-stress you beyond your imagination and the effects were showing. We were thoroughly relaxed and wanted to explore much more. The bad part was that it was time to get home and hit the bed.

a drive to bade miyan at colaba is the best night drive experience. good non veg followed by a drive on marine drive and the song has to be hotel calafornia..”on a dark desert highway..cool wind in my hair”.. perfect night out experience

Driving is fun, and drive at night means more fun as you feel a sense of freedom.
I love driving at night as it mellows me, but I’m aware that there are things that I keep in mind to keep myself and others away from risk. I don’t drink & I drive at less speed and let the music fade

Slot in a cd of top gear driving music and floor it on the expressway. the car feels very stable at high speeds. i have driven max at 150.

It would be the Worli Sea Link at a meagre speed watching the city glow in the dark, with the breeze blowing and with the song “Behti hawa sa tha woh” playing. This would be apt considering the diesel Figo got stolen. “Kahan gaya usse dhoondo”

First of all night time is the right time for many things because the weather is cool and calm and the sun is not hovering around our heads. Secondly the stars and the moonlight makes it so romantic and fun to drive around in the night with the windows open and the cool breeze in your hair.
Couple all that with a nice song in the background, makes night driving almost perfect affair. Now to make all this more interesting and fun I suggest one should select their songs smartly. This is where my ipod comes to play an important role. It can stuff all the songs which I ever have had, heard and when my mood is romantic I can swing into Enrique and stuff. When I am a little naughty I can hear the beats of bollywoods dhak dhak and when I am feeling crazy there is always Bon Jovi and Bryan Adams.
Any road is my facourite as long as I have access to good songs and a good car which isolates me from the road and traffic.

I honestly feel nothing can beat driving in the rains whether day or night. The cool weather and the movement of wipers is so turning on for me, I know I am a little weird, hehe.

ummm.. considering the smooth handling and great silent acceleration of the ford figo.. (which is technically my 20th birthday present ;D ) the best drive at night would be from Delhi to Jaipur on the NH8 highway.. its one of the best and clear highways to actually get the “FEEL OF THE CAR”.. as a previous owner of a FORD IKON.. i just love the ford engines.. they deliver great power n are ideal highway rides..
the figo is one of my personal favorites in d small car segment.. the air conditioning on 2nd blow.. HID beams fitted playing the song “TEMPERATURE” by Sean Paul to get your tempo going on its amazing bass busting system (best feature) put on increasing volume with speed (another amazing feature)
this was seriously my best ride from Delhi to Jaipur in the night

according to me..the best ride on my ford Figo would be late in d night.. on d Bandra-Worli sea link.. its like an ideal stretch of land with its beautiful view down n ahead
and like my friend calls it.. “its the best FOREIGN LIKE RIDE” right in d middle of Mumbai
the song that i switch on in my figo with full bass on full blast volume is “SINGLE LADIES” by Beyonce from the movie sex and the city
this is one of the most amazing songs on one of the most amazing looking stretches of land in Mumbai in my very own FIGO

Night time definately is best time to ride..no traffic..no people to dash into..pefect blend of darkness,headlights..speed and the chaiwala in middle of night to sip a cup of tea and listen to song…chandni raatein…sounds so romantic ahhhhaa

wow.. a difficult question now.. now i have one location atm.. one is the OMR road in chennai.. i did 101kmph there in day time.. think of night time then.. :O that two 4 wheels.. airbags everywhere.. fastened seat belts.. thats it i will surely take her there..
and the song, MY HEART WILL GO ON from titanic.. ok now don’t ask this song is for whom? FiGo or GF.. i really dont know.. but as the name figo states, Freedom In when Girls are Out.. now girls are out.. so freedom is in.. now i will do my romance with my white fordy lady figo with a romantic song..
