Day 3 brings some bad news. Somebody has manged to steal our Figo and we are baffled. The Figo has been the victim of a neat job and the thief was smart enough to erase out the evidence. The police is hunting down this guy without much headway and we are trying to figure out the motive behind this crime.
What can possibly get worse? The thief has added insult to injury by sending us a video of this getaway. Obviously he is trying to get away from the scene in a jiffy and the Figo is only helping him do so by handling sharply.
Its quite possible that the thief has been checking out our posts on the Figo and maybe his motive is hidden here itself. (We dont think he stole the car to get featured on Motorbeam). Thinking in retrospect, we have come up with a few things which would make the Ford Figo feature on his list.
ipod connectivity and the convenience of carrying your music on the go. If he can steal a car, whats an ipod?
We have been driving a diesel variant of the Figo and whats more an incentive than to have performance and economy on the same side.
Better be safe than sorry. Irony is that the thief is safe (inside the Figo with ABS and Airbags) and is certainly not sorry.
A big butt and a big boot don’t go unnoticed.
We would like to give the ‘Thief’ a message if he is reading this. “Please return our car and we promise you a free ride. (to the police station).” Thankfully Ford has send us the Petrol version of the Figo while the hunt is still on for our favorite diesel variant. Now back to you guys. Today’s question is -

YOU CAN START UR OWN CHORE BAZAAR IN THAT HUGE BOOT SPACE..IT WOULD GET ALOT OF ATTENTION FROM MANY PEOPLE SINCE THAT THIEF IS IN THE BRAND NEW FORD FIGO WHICH IS A ON HECK OF A CAR AND HE HAS OPENED HIS SHOP IN HIS STOLEN FOR FIGO IN ITS BOOT SPACE HEHE..

the most practical solution would be to fit luggage in the boot rather than putting a carrier on top.

For carrying a complete picnic kit which includes food ,table chairs ,games,mat Pramp of my kids,Games & other things etc in the boot

Happiness comes with space, but along comes a problem of who will use this space? Me or my wife!
We surely will have workarounds for some of these problems which are a good one, don’t we?
My wife will be excited to use this large boot space for obvious purpose; shopping, shopping & more shopping.
Thinking of extra boots space in my car I sense freedom of thoughts to try out things.
I can stretch the rear seats to make more space for relaxed travel or install a music system to my tastes and utilize the whole boot space with an array of subs. Large boot space will be perfect for long holidays when I want to travel with extra luggage or fun camping on weekend, wherein I will have all the room I need for carry tents & Sleeping bags.
Whatever be the purpose, extra boot space is an ideal advantage for a hatch back.
With the extra boot space in the Figo, we can always be “on the go”…

I will use the boot to stuff in my scooty (with the seats folded ofcourse and the fuel removed) and drive the Figo to Ladakh.

Did you file an FIR? Maybe the police can help in this regard. I lost my 800 a few years back and the police asked me for Rs. 10,000 to recover it and they actually did.

With the Figos boot I would add two huge subwoofers and enjoy my rocking music system. I love music and bit booted hatches give me a chance to add as many subs as I want.

Extra boot = extra space = extra luggage room = extra holiday … and with Diesel Figo thats all so affordable
my crazy crazy mind is thinking of the movie Sharabi … ang get a mini bar set up in the boot like that of AB’s car in the movie !
the thief would also be thinking of stealing a lot of things while returning back to his place .. who would not be tempted by the big boot !!
i am a smart guy u c .. havent shown the boot to my gal yet … she would love to ‘HIRE’ me and my car for shopping !!!

Foldable rear seats. Its a treat. I can bring my ac/washing machine/42 inch lcd, er just anything from the store. Its a multiutility vehicle (MUV)/car rolled into one.

I think the whole robbery thing is creepy, nowdays manufacturers are offering alot of safety features to prevent such mishaps. However what ever said and done I think one should use gear lock in case of areas where robbery is quite common. I hope you find the Figo back, otherwise a new car will see Insurance giving back the complete money.

considering the amount of luggage my sister carries for a one day trip which is as much as the rest of the 4 in our family.. only the boot space available in d Figo solves our problem.. coz my i10 or wagon R did not accommodate all 5 of us with her luggage atleast
now that we have this HUGE boot space to put her luggage in.. we can travel comfortably to any place of our choice without having to adjust her luggage in our laps and leg area..
this car has seriously come as a blessing for us..considering the amount of road trips we make as a family and the amount of luggage we need

How would you utilize Figo’s large boot to your advantage?
Here comes the deal.. everytime we go out, our doggy doesnt feel comfortable to take a ride with us.. the large boot space can give him more space to enjoy while travelling.. all we can give him space while we enjoy all the nice things like bluetooth, aux, etc etc.. ( better i give a link to the ford figo’s specs page as it is too hard to pen down each and every feature it has).
may be we can get him a new girl friend too and take them out, even they will enjoy their lives.. after all, all living organisms has some factors of joy, love etc.. respecting everyone’s feelings and giving them the best, like Ford has done by respecting the age factor considering 18-80yrs and give a all new good product..

figo has a big boot and i would not want to fit a particular thing in it. it can be utilised for mutliple purposes and thats what makes the figo such a dynamic car. ford has actually given a night light in the boot unlike the ever popular marutis. i think maruti really know how to fool the indian public. thank you ford for giving us such a practical car.
