Its surprising how fast time can fly. We have been driving the Figo for a week now and its slowly become a vital part of our day. As all good things must come to an end, the Ford Figo competition closes today at midnight and we will cherish these good days for a long time.
Continuing where we left off yesterday, we had met up with a few close friends who wanted to check out the Figo one on one. Without any doubt, the Figo’s iPod connectivity feature was on top of everyone’s list. Here’s what they had to say.
By the way, the last person in the video is our driver. He was going ga ga over the pick up of the car. Question time now. There are Rs. 50,000/- worth goodies to be won.
Q. We have been posting something daily on the Figo. Which is your favorite post and why?
We sign off now and before we forget, our stolen Figo has been recovered. The thief has dropped the car at a Ford dealership but is still at large. In an email from an undisclosed address the thief has written to us that he felt extremely guilty of stealing the car after he realised that the Ford Figo, though loaded with smart features, doesn’t cost a bomb to own. He has decided to live a life of dignity and claims to have already booked his Figo. Better late than never.
By the way, where did our petrol Figo go? It was parked right here a few minutes ago…OH NO…NOT AGAIN.

The figo getting stolen was a fantastic idea. i was actually wondering what ford will be saying. smart idea.

Oh no, the petrol Figo got stolen. I think the thief is quite foolish to give back the diesel for a petrol because diesels are more frugal and have more low end grunt. Thus they are way lot more fun to drive than anything else. I love diesel cars specially the ones which have no lag and linear power delivery, a characteristic of the 1.4L Duratorq heart found in the Fiesta, Ikon and Figo.

our’s stolen Figo has been recovered that good news . So the thief is a rich guy that he has already booked his figo.
This is really a faourite post as the only rich thief has the guts to steal this type of vehicle……….

The first picture is really awesome. Earlier I used to hate the Squeeze colour but after seeing the pictures on Motorbeam for the past 5 days I have started to like it, the colour grows on you.

Interesting times there, can the winners get a chance to get behind the wheel of the Figo?

I think hatchbacks are meant to be affordable and the Figo strikes a good balance between value for money and good dynamics.

Impressive end to a fun week…
It was a delightful week, which was filled with super fun and lods of wisdom.
I’m really glad that I made it into the space talking about The Figo, its features & what would i do if i had one.
My favorite post was that on the day three:
“Our Ford Figo Got Stolen”
It was a fantastic & fresh idea (like just the car) which caught attention & bonded the people participating.
People turned passionate about sharing where abouts, through the same post participants got info on both petrol & Diesel variants.
All & all a great week and look forward for many more of these.
“Jai Ho……”, “Ford Figo

i think the best one was the figo being stolen. well written and i was like how did the thief manage to flick the car. the positive part is that atleast he managed to return the diesel one.

the stolen part was the best one..i loved it.. actually i thought Ford is gonna break Fas for losing their figo.. but, the more i read, i couldn’t control my laughter when i felt that Fas has escaped and i was stupid.. sorry man.. and figo, ” i love you”.. you are well packed.. safety, entertainment, the needs of a family, the multimedia, and ya the bluetooth.. if at all a situation comes, figo, i can elope with you at any moment, rather giving instructions to my girl friend what all should be done.. ok.. one ford figo for me.. no matter of petrol or diesel in case of mileage.. both give decent one.. make it white.. c ya ford.. waiting for such a competition of your ford Focus.. Fas, sorry for pulling your leg..

loved these lines.. “A word of caution, avoid taking your wife or girlfriend for a shopping expedition in the Figo, its a sure shot formula to bankruptcy considering the boot can accommodate shopping bags worth your annual income.”
