Ford India has launched a new variant of its entry-level sedan Ikon priced at Rs 5.17-5.77 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi). The new Ford Ikon Plus will be available in both petrol and diesel options and comes 13 inch alloys, rear spoiler, side mouldings, chrome exhaust tip, leather vinyl seats, IPod-compatible MP3 player and remote keyless entry. The new variant is a follow up to the response witnessed on the Ikon iKool last year.

Sounds interesting. Have Ford brought down the price of the Ikon? I estimate the price of the diesel Figo will be 4.5 lakh rupees. I don’t think they will price it more than this.

Shrawan, maybe for the base variant yet but top end diesel wont come less then 5.85 lakhs.
