Zess, Honda should launch a CVT variant though as they already have the technology, just need to put the CVT in the Brio, but when is the real question. However when we get any information on the launch, we will definitely share it with you :-)

now there will be a big dent in sale of petrol models of Swift, i-10, Ritz and Beat. What do you think Fas?

fas September 27, 2011 at 4:25 pm

Yes Ninu, you are right. More so with the launch of the Hyundai Eon, Maruti Suzuki cars won’t find it easy to sell. Already the petrol cars sell very less so if Honda launched a diesel, then there would be a real fight.

Honda should atleast get the 1.3MJ engine from Fiat for Jazz. The 3-cyl version of the same (as used by GM’s Beat) can be used for Brio!

Great car. Apart from the insane rear looks I have no grunt with this car. The switches on the steering wheel are good welcome. If diesel also comes it will be a good car. Also i10 with diesel and the new Eon are coming. Maruti now God can only save your big downfall. Hyundai and Honda are after you.
