Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has reported a 32% in two-wheeler sales in December at 94,082 units against 71,010 units in the same month last year.
The company, which has shut down its plant on December 27, 2008 till January 2, 2009, for annual maintenance, said motorcycle sales during the month grew by 62% at 37,118 units against 22,952 units in the year-ago period. Scooter sales rose by 19 per cent growth at 56,964 units in December against 48,058 units in the same month last year, it added.
