Honda India has launched the new CR-V which comes with a refreshed look, sporting a new two-step front grille, a re-sculpted hood and front bumper design and oval shape fog lamps. The new CR-V is 45mm longer than its predecessor and measures 4575 mm in length while maintaining the same width, height, ground clearance and head clearance. A new 10-spoke alloy wheel design replaces the previous 7-spoke alloy wheel design. The Honda CR-V will continue to be available in 2.0 L – MT 2WD and 2.4L MT /AT Real-time 4WD. The 2.4 L model now comes with a steering-mounted Cruise Control system. The Honda CR-V is sold as a CBU import and will be available on confirmed order basis.

Occupant safety has been enhanced as the new CR-V comes equipped with six airbags – Dual SRS Airbags, Side-Curtain airbags and Side Airbags with Occupant Position Detection System (OPDS). The music system features a new USB port in the upper glove compartment. The overall interior colour scheme has been brightened with chrome finish in audio controls and gear knob and coordinated colour changes in the dashboard and centre console. The centrally located LCD meter display is now blue in colour with design changes in the indicators. The vanity mirror is equipped with a light to assist visibility during darkness. The new CR-V will be available in two new colours – Opal Sage Metallic and Premium Mystic Night Pearl along with the existing range of Polished Metal, Alabaster Silver, Crystal Black Pearl and Premium White.

The prices of the new 2010 Honda CR-V (ex showroom Delhi) is as follows : -

  • 2.0L MT Rs. 21,92,000
  • 2.4L MT Rs. 23,37,000
  • 2.4L AT Rs. 24,12,000
