Hyundai has launched three LPG variants of the Eon in India. The Hyundai Eon LPG is available in D-Lite +, Era + and Magna + trim levels and are priced at Rs. 2.98 lakhs, Rs. 3.12 lakhs and Rs. 3.42 lakhs respectively (all priced ex-showroom, Delhi). Thus the LPG variants of the Hyundai Eon are around Rs. 27,000/- costlier than the regular Eon. Hyundai calls the LPG variant a part of its Blue Drive range and the factory fitted tanks can hold 32 liters of petrol and 34 liters of LPG, giving the Eon LPG a range of 1200 kms. The Toroidal tank prevents the boot space from being compromised and Hyundai offers 2-year warranty on the LPG unit.
“The D-Lite plus offers a host of features all for less than Rs 3 lakh. Similarly, Era+ and Magna + also offer enhanced features. The idea behind the new variants is to offer extra value to our customers,” Mr H W Park, MD and CEO, Hyundai India, said.

What mileage we can expect from the LPG variant ?
Sunil, can’t really comment on the mileage as Hyundai has not revealed details but around 10% less than the petrol only version.
