Hyundai India is offering the Getz Prime CRDi at a special price of Rs. 5,09,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi) for a limited period. The Getz CRDi never really took of, for two reasons. One being the Swift Diesel and the other being Hyundai’s lack of interest in selling the car. No test drive available and no marketing either. Hyundai launched the Getz diesel for the sake of it and are now clearing stocks to make way for the Hyundai i20 Diesel.

I think the car didnt sell too well mainly due to its higher price when compared the Swift Diesel and also that it didnt come with many features.

Any idea if the Getz will be phased out soon ? Esp with the I20 needing to sell and the I10 being there below it ?

Sushil, Hyundai will surely phase out the Getz one day, but I think they intend to phase out the diesel first and position the Getz between the Santro and the i20.

  3. George Says:

Even I think Hyundai will definitely phase out Getz.As part of global ‘I’ series strategy Hyundai may replace Hyundai Getz in near future.

Ritz looks impressive. Better than all other hatchback. price, looks, space, are far better than any other cars in this segment. The mileage would play vital role. Lets wait for the mileage to get updated. I think the tall boy will be able to prove its tallness.
