Hyundai India has introduced the revised Hyundai Santro. The company claims the new Santro has been designed with luxurious interiors and improved exterior features to further enhance its appeal to the customers, but we really don’t think so. The new Santro continues to be powered by the same 1.1 eRLX Epsilon engine with changes to the exterior being body coloured radiator grille, full wheel cover and a rear spoiler.
“Through the launch of the new Santro, we intend to thank all our customers who have chosen to drive this product and make Hyundai into what it is today. The new version of Santro is further aimed at delighting our customers with luxurious interiors, advance styling and enhanced comfort.” Hyundai India MD H S Lheem said.
Inside, the new Santro has new fabric in dual tone beige and brown with silver touches at multiple locations along with a rear parcel tray. The new Santro will be available in 8 colours – Crystal White, Black Diamond, Sleek Silver, Electric Red, Dark Grey, Silky Beige, Berry Red and Sparkle Blue. It is available in 5 variants, with prices ranging from Rs. 263,999/- to Rs. 369,499/- (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Lets all Thank Hyundai for not unleashing the bug eyed Santro just yet. My son has trouble sleeping as it is – dont want to have to comfort his nightmares of the new Santro !
