Hyundai has launched the 2012 Sonata in India. Hyundai has not announced the prices of the 2012 Sonata yet. The 2012 Sonata is powered by a 2.4-liter GDI engine which produces 201 PS of peak power at 6300 RPM and 25.5 kgm of peak torque at 4200 RPM. Mated to a 6-speed gearbox (both manual and automatic versions are available), the Sonata is loaded with features including HID Xenon headlamps, paddle shifts, cruise control, button start, 6 airbags, ESP, reverse guide camera, front and rear seat ventilation, 10 way adjustable power seat, lumbar support, etc. The new Sonata also features dual variable valve timing valve train, which Hyundai calls VTVT.

Took long to come…but one great looking car. Hope it manages better than the Embera.

every hyundai cars have same problem….lack of stability at high speeds, steering feedback is worse, n even suspension is not good…wonder when hyundai gonna these problems….:(
Side profile resembles Verna. I like the front design.. the way headlight curves down to the center in teh front and the enhancing curves on the bumper. Dashboard looks interesting.
