The recently launched Hyundai i45 sedan has won yet another award. The i45 (better known as the Sonata in other countries) won an Australian International Design Award in the Automotive and Transport category for 2010. The awards are presented by Standards Australi, recognising Australian and international design excellence. The new Hyundai ix35 received a Design Mark whereas the i45 is the only five-seater passenger sedan to make to the finals shortlist. Six panels of judges spent ten days assessing more than 200 products on their design merits.
