We saw it at the 2010 Auto Expo and now its officially on the road. The all new Jaguar XJ is here and Tata has started deliveries of this luxury sedan and is overwhelmed with the response it has got. Lately, we have seen a surge in the sales of luxury cars and premium car buyers don’t mind shelling out a bounty to settle for the best. The XJ is powered by a massive 5 ltr AJ-V8 Gen III naturally aspirated direct-injection V8 petrol engine which gives out 385 PS of power.

The XJ sports luxurious interiors with hand finished leather and state of the art gadgetry with mood setting blue lighting around the knobs. It is the most aerodynamic Jaguar till date and its construction is made from aluminium using magnesium and composite alloys, allowing Jaguar to produce a significantly lighter and stiffer body and making it the lightest in its class. Aerodynamic and light weight design adds to the XJ’s sporty performance without compromising on sheer comfort. The XJ will be available in India in the long wheelbase version. Priced at Rs 85.05 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai), the XJ will take the competition by storm in a segment which is ruled by the big German boys. For more information check out the official site.

Modern luxury car are developed and designed for the comfort and safety of Driver (normally owner in West). Recently, after an accident in Mumbai, Ambani claimed that his Lamborghini was driven by his driver. There can’t be anything more funny that a guy buys a Million $ sports two seater, which is driven by a driver, who can’t afford a MoBike.

85.05 Lakhs almost sounds reasonable for this car because it oh-so-gorgeous! It makes the 7 Series and S Class look like wanabees. Love this car

I first saw it, though slightly short of true greatness; now, after looking at it in pictures and in the metal for the better part of a year, I think it is amazing..http://www.divyeshweb.com/driving.html
