There has been alot of flutter on Chrysler’s Jeep hitting Indian shores but nothing concrete. However with Fiat partnering up with Chrysler (20% stake expected to go upto 51% soon), the launch of a number of Chrysler models in India is highly likely. Fiat’s Ranjangaon facility could produce the Jeep Cherokee, as Chrysler wishes to expand its arms in one of the world’s fastest growing passenger car market.

I think that’s good news. If Jeep Cherokee shows up in Indian shores, it’s also possible that it would hit other countries as well. Nice, car fanatics would love to try this car.
