Land Rover gave up on the military and Aid & Project business long ago.
The whole product range is tuned to match Premium Luxury markets. Defender with a Tdci engine and a paltry 1 tonne plus capacity cannot really compete on today's warfare theater. I am not even sure that any of the current product range can be fully supressed to fit 24V FFR.

I read this sometime back too. Land Rover already supplies armed forces of several nations with their special vehicles.
