The Mahindra Xylo Compact MPV is scheduled to hit the Indian markets by October 2012 and the testing of the product will only increase in days to come. We snapped the Xylo compact MPV in Pune, where the car was being driven towards Hinjewadi. Codenamed X-300, the mini-Xylo might look like a Xylo MPV with the rear chopped off but its not as easy as it seems. Mahindra knows how important this vehicle is for them and there have been spy shots from Europe too, where the mini-Xylo was undergoing winter testing.

All the details of the Mahindra Xylo Compact MPV have been discussed in and out as this is not the first sighting of this machine. We reported that Mahindra might plonk in the Verito’s engine (Renault 1.5-litre DCi motor), which our sources have told us about. This time, we were able to get clear shots of the interiors of the Xylo Compact MPV, which are quite similar to the ones seen on the Xylo MPV. Meanwhile you can checkout our chase of the Xylo Compact MPV below. Feeling adventurous? Guess the bike which was used to chase the mini-Xylo?

Interiors are too plasticky.. hope this is not the final version. Tyres appear puny and are not filling the wheel wells properly. Hope M&M gets class beating features in this as well.
