Mahindra and Mahindra has said that it was ramping up production of the Xylo in a bid to reduce the waiting list for the product. The auto-maker said that it “has the lowest inventory level with dealers probably in history.”

“For the Xylo, we have a waiting list of five weeks. We are now trying to lower that. We are already doing that (ramping up production),” Mahindra and Mahindra’s Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Anand Mahindra said. “Our inventory with dealers is lower than what we targeted because we were apprehensive about where the market was going,” Mahindra said.

Actually, Xylo bookings have crossed the 10000 mark this week so no wonder Mahindra has to ramp up the production. I see Fiat Linea as a very cool car and yet the bookings have just reached the 800-1000 mark. Its Xylo’s practicality and pricing that buyers are liking. Why go for a smaller Sedan when You are getting a huge and powerful MPV for the same price.

What a blunder, M&M is a big liar, I booked the Xylo E8 at the begining of Feb and now in April, is yet to hear from the dealer in Goa. I only get false promises day after day.
