Mahindra To Launch Navistar & Maxximo

Mahindra will showcase their entire product portfolio at the 2010 Auto Expo. The company’s range of vehicles includes two wheelers, Utility vehicles, Sports Utility Vehicles, Light Commercial Vehicles & Trucks. The company will unveil its next generation mini truck Maxximo at the event. The first product to be rolled out of Mahindra’s new plant at Chakan, the Maxximo has been developed and designed on the basis of extensive customer feedback.

The brand name Maxximo was chosen after much deliberation, keeping in mind its promise of delivering MORE – MAXIMUM at its core. Maxximo is ergonomically designed and sports stylised and car like interiors. Mahindra will also launch its much awaited range of trucks in collaboration with Navistar International. Mahindra Navistar will manufacture the entire spectrum of commercial vehicles. The MaxxForce 7.2 diesel engine (7.2 liter in-line six cylinder diesel engine producing 210bhp @ 2200rpm of power and 880Nm @ 1200-1400rpm of torque), which claims to be the most modern engine in its class, will power Mahindra Navistar’s new range of M & HCV trucks and buses.
