Contrary to popular belief, Mahindra will launch the world SUV (pictures can be seen here) only next year and will be exported to the US. The company is investing Rs. 700-800 crore to develop the product, which will fill the vacuum above Scorpio in the SUV segment. The product is being developed keeping in mind global markets. The company would roll out the product from its newly constructed facility at Chakan, which is expected to hit the Indian roads within an year from now.
