Maruti Suzuki will launch the Kizashi on the 28th of January, 2011. This will be the company’s first foray into the D-segment market which has been dominated by the likes of Honda and Skoda. The Maruti Kizashi will be priced around Rs. 16 lakhs and will be powered by a 2.4-liter DOHC inline four-cylinder engine producing 185 bhp of power at 6500 Rpm and 235Nm of torque at 4000rpm. The Kizashi will be a CBU and depending on the success of the car in India, Maruti will consider local assembly.
The Kizashi features All Wheel Drive, 18-inch alloy wheels, Electronic Stability Program, 8-airbags, optional Rockford Fosgate 425 watts speakers and 6-speed Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). The Kizashi might not feature the Maruti badge at all and will be branded as a Suzuki only.

@Raminder: Dont let the glare from cam flash fool you.
Unless the photos are from a studio, we cannot judge the exact material quality. Look one in flash and it would make huge difference, though may not always be Good Quality. :)
I think the cars would be priced around 10-14 lacs.
It cannot fight Skoda and Civic with a price tag of 16 lacs
I would go for Kizashi if I could get a variant around 10 lacs.
Simply because of Maruti Service and Maruti reliability
