Within a few hours time, Maruti will launch the Ritz in India. The Ritz will compete with the Swift, according to Maruti. However the competition is more with the Hyundai i10. Checkout the pictures of the Maruti Ritz after the jump.

Really good photos of the car. It does look nice in white. The interiors are looking good as well. The Speedometer & tachos are good as well. Any idea if the Auto Climate Control is there on the ZXI ? I thought I saw it on one of the websites but the pdfs by maruti state otherwise.

Sushil, there is no climate control in the Ritz, not even in the Zxi.

What about the music system is it good????????
How many speakers does it have in Zxi midel I am planning to bye it???????
June 14th, 2009 at 12:31 am
Antan, Music is decent. All cars except high end cars like Audi, Mercedes come with average music system. The car comes with 4 speakers. If you are a ICE lover then you can change it depending on your budget. There are lots of options like components in the front and sub in the boot powered by a 4 channel amp. The sky is the limit when it comes to in car entertainment.

What do you suggest shall i consider Ritz or I shall go for i10?????
I fell Ritz have some edge over i10 with height adjustable driver seat and steering mounted audio keys?????????
June 14th, 2009 at 12:56 pm
Antan, those features are not there on the LXi. Why don’t you check both the cars out to see what suits you better. The cars are so close that its really difficult making a choice, but I would choose the i10, but just.

Antan, I am sorry I got confused with another post. Go ahead with the Ritz ZXi, its more value for money than the i10. It has more features and the engine is new, car is new, so resale will be fantastic and Maruti service is very good.

Can I attach mr Nokia Nseries N81 Mobile phone to the ZXi Version of the Ritz? Mobile has 3.5mm of standard jack out for music. How well the integrated speaker perform? Can i attach Subwoofer to the car audio system? If yes, Suggest for me one of better value and performance. Ilike SONY, but anything welcome as u will suggest. Next thing, ZXi Ritz has wider Tyres, so is there any possibility of decreased fuel efficiency for petrol. Any MUST TO HAVE Accessory for Ritz as you think to be fitted in Ritz? Does Midnight Black colour looks nice on it? Does it fades away early? Any good colour combination on the Number Plate do you think to look beautiful as I am too much love the exterior appearence of the car. Any Rear Spoiler for car? Please So Sorry for too much Qs but I really need to know them as this is going to be my buying decision. Please Help. Thanks. Reply awaited

what if i replace vxi tyres with the one in zxi,wud it effect the performace.and approx. how much more money i need to shell out fa tat.Secondly how much a decent music system costs. Thanks
October 4th, 2009 at 1:07 am
Neeraj, the ZXi tyres are a safer bet for the Ritz. Please go ahead with it. It will cost you around Rs. 10,000/- after exchange of current tyres. A decent music system with speakers will cost you around Rs. 10,000-15,000/-

Thanks buddy appreciate the help. One more question should steel wheel be replaced with alloy ones.
And why there is 2k different per tyre btw 165 and 185.
Thanxx

Neeraj, you dont necessarily need to replace steel wheels with alloys. Alloys cost anywhere between 10-50k and other than aesthetics they don’t serve much purpose. Yes they are lighter and stuff and are stronger but that is negligible in day to day driving. The difference in price of tyres is due to the fact, the wider the tyre, the more rubber it has.

I have recently brought Ritz. It’s an amazing machine….It is actually a driver’s car. Interiors are good. Noise is zero. Smooth drive. Give ard 15kmpl and I know it will be better after few services.Just one disappointment they don’t offer integrated stereo in VXi, it is available in ZXi. See the below video:
Ritz rated as best hatchback car by Overdrive CNBC, on a drive from Chandigarh to ladhak which included competition between 9 cars like Jazz, Ritz, fabia, i20, swift, indica, punto etc
