Maruti January 2009 Sales Rise

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd’s January vehicle sales stood at 71,779 units as compared to 68,107 units during the same time last year, up by 5.4%. Maruti’s domestic sales rose by 5.6% to 67,005 units during the concerned month up from 63,459 units. Exports rose to 4,774 units from 4,648 units during Januray 2008, a rise of 2.7%.
