Maruti Suzuki will launch the new Wagon R on 23rd April. It will feature an all new platform and is longer, wider and taller. The wheelbase has also increased. All this will equate to more interior room (something which is not at all lacking in the car). The 1.0 liter K-series engine from the A-Star will do duty in the new Wagon R with 68PS of power on offer. The car will be available in LX, LXi and VXi variants and will cost Rs. 3.55-4.75 lakhs. The top model will feature all the latest safety features found in Ritz and Swift. The Wagon R recently crossed sales of five million units worldwide.

Thanks for the pictures! New Wagon-R surely looks much modern than existing model but however, The squarish side windows aren’t so appealing.
Cheers,
