Mitsubishi Launches Lancer Evo X

Mitsubishi has launched the Lancer Evolution X in India priced at Rs. 49.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Brought in as a CBU, the Evo X is powered by a 2.0L turbocharged petrol motor helping it to reach 100kmph in just 6.6 seconds. The 291bhp of power helps the Evo X reach a top speed of well over 250kmph.

  Considering the EVO-X is priced @ ~$35k incl. customs in india 50L is expected. Not to forget Nissan’s 370Z sells @ 70L.

  I don’t expect this car to sell / Mitsubishi to survive in the Indian market in the coming years.

  What I would have like to see is a 2L diesel motor for the Cedia.
