They say its their policy world over to which I told them that its more dangerous to hold a bike in standing position while getting it filled due to unstability of the bike and going for a full tank in such case is even more dangerous … but alas …

Feeling heat? Recently I wrote to shell complaining to them about their lack of knowledge of Indian customs and mindsets which will hurt them a lot. The example is for all to see at their petrol pumps where they make every biker and hold the bike (rather uncomfortable if you ask me) while getting their tank filed in the name of safety. I see most of the bikers avoid their pump due to this. But as I expected .. my suggestion / complaint felt on deaf ears :)
