Peugeot Citroen is recalling 97,000 cars in Europe because of problems with a sticking accelerator pedal. The recall  is similar to the one made by Toyota last week. In both cases, the sticking pedal can cause the car to accelerate unexpectedly resulting in an accident. The recall involves 10% of Peugeot 107 and Citroen C1 models in circulation in Europe. The vehicles were manufactured in the Czech Republic at a factory that produces both Toyota and Peugeot Citroen vehicles.
