The Range Rover Evoque SUV is expected to be launched in India very soon. Hearing this if you are planning to book one, you might have just missed the chance. According to reports, the first lot of Evoques that are supposed to be come to India have already been sold out. The Evoque will be imported to India via the CBU route and is expected to cost over Rs. 50 Lakh. It will be available in both petrol and diesel variants but going by the soaring petrol prices, the diesel version is definitely going to be the major chunk of the total sales. The Evoque is available in 3 trim levels: ‘Pure’, ‘Dynamic’ and ‘Prestige’. The Dynamic variant gets more sportier bits while the Pure trim may not be offered to Indian customers.

Way to go TATA. It is no surprise, Range Rover Evoque is truly a magnificent SUV.
Why CBU? Can’t these be built in India. Just Imagine this beast at half the price.
Ninu, Tata Motors will commence CKD operations soon. No plans to locally manufacture the car in India in the near future though.
@Faisal: That isn’t true because Tata have plans to assemble the Evoque locally but First the Jaguar Xf will be built locally
Sandeep, assembly – yes, but manufacturing – no.
