Finding the Renault Fluence on the roads in like a spy car spotting, the reasons being very evident that Renault has given all the good top end features in the petrol version has given a very basic stripped down version for the diesel. Now Renault is all geared up to launch the top end version of the Fluence diesel. The top end version is expected this November as festive seasons are going on. It will feature essentials like twin zone air conditioning, cruise control, auto headlamps, rain sensing wipers and beige interiors. The transmission is expected to be manual and there may not be a CVT for the top end diesel.

Renault will also be selling the basic diesel version which has manual gearbox and black interiors. The top end diesel of Fluence is estimated to be Rs. 80,000 – 1,00,000/- more expensive than the petrol top end version which is currently priced at Rs. 14.40 lakh. With the diesel top end version, the Fluence will now be fit to compete with the Chevrolet Cruze, Skoda Laura, Volkswagen Jetta and Toyota Corolla Corolla.
