for 22.99, i wil never buy or recommend , how come it fit against fortuner and Mitsubishi outlander , dont they even think about bmw x1 at 22 laks?
fogot about santa fe, i rather buy santa fe than this one
Satish, talk about pricing blunder and voila.
14 to 16 is good price , i think
This is a great car but Renault priced it very badly. They should launch a SUV in Price Bracket of 10-15 lac to compete with Scorpio, Safari, Force One. Tata Aria 4X2
ha hmmm… every one should note the word “premium luxury”… so it has a lot of goodies packed inside to cope up to the price statement… it is not a contender for fortuner as it is a true off roader… instead it competes with SUVs like captiva and CR-V…. so you should compare its price with those actually.22.99 is decent when compared to CR-Vs which will cost around 30 laks..
I think Renault has killed Koleos with one thud of “high-price”. Now you will not see much of Koleos on our roads. Renault did not learn lesson from failure of Yeti or Fusion. How can this Koleos be better than Santa-Fe? I, now, hope they will be wiser by the time Duster hits the road. SUV buyers are a different category of informed buyers:they didn’t buy Fortuner for nothing- the SUV is selling virtually without any kind of advertising! I am sure that competition is happy with news of Koleos price!! As I am writing this, I am seriously looking to BMW X1/X3 and B-Class Merc! Thanks to Renault!!!
BGNayak, Renault had no option due to 30% CKD duty.
Sir, May be you are right about duties, but when Renault does not have A.S.S. spread well throughout India, how can they expect to sell Koleos?!We can look forward for a discount sale after 6 months confidently!
BGNayak, I am not taking Renault’s side, I am just telling why the price went up. Anyways, they are not bothered about Koleos’ sales much, its just for brand building.
******** price its a dead duck suv lets say adeos to koleos bye bye
Do these guys even think before they launch their products? 22+ lakhs… in a market dominated by the likes of Toyota, BMW, Hyundai, Honda is a recipe for disaster. They dont have any brand image in the country. They should have focused on cars with mass appeal in the small-mid size segment rather than bringing in a big, clunky SUV which has little to no equipment levels when compared with its rivals. Wake up Renault or you will be another failure in the Indian auto market. The Indian car buyer is not to be dumped on anymore!
I dont think its overpriced. The looks and features make it stand it against CRv for any aspect. And it has A good Brand image although they dont have a good dealership and service network. The car looks expensive too. It is a luxury SUV which some people are not able to digest.
Abhishek, Honda is a brand which is considered premium in India. No one really knows Renault much here.
yes fas agreed. and same i have written in my next post. but the features are really good enough to position it as a premium car. These are no even in the CRVs so I felt its corrctly priced. Honda is a better brand atleast in India is for sure.
Abhisek, we have to consider that features don’t sell a car. Overall brand and driving dynamics do. Look at the Fiat Grande Punto, it had the most features when launched and priced aggressively too but without brand it did not sell much.
8 bose surround system. Does any CRV even have them? All the features are awesome and it is a luxury car. Renault has a good brand image though not in India but definitely Internationally. This car is good even for 30lakhs.
Hi! They have sold you Koleos! Take a deep ride into interior India with it and I wish you good luck for your safe return and peaceful driving times!
