With stricter emission norms going into effect from fools day, Skoda will no longer be able to sell their cars equipped with old school Pump Duse (PD) technology. Thus the Czech manufacturer will launch the Laura and Superb with a 2.0 liter, 139bhp common rail diesel engine. The diesel Laura will now be available only with the above mentioned engine which is not only more refined but performs better too. Petrol engines will remain the same as they comply with Bharat IV emission norms.
