Safety feature in mid variant is a good move, VW doesn’t have same… Skoda should have added new feature that are not present in vento. Although Skoda is known for fit and finish… need to check on this one and finally pricing.

Satish, we do have lots of pics but since we already put up a gallery (http://www.motorbeam.com/gallery/2011-skoda-rapid/) which has pics taken in much better light conditions, we thought not to put more pics from the launch. If you want us to, we certainly can ;-)

Aggressive pricing, right in the league of Japanese and Koreans. Good move Skoda.

Lack of equipment inside. No steering mounted controls. No cruise control. Expected the DSG box in the auto.

Cmon Skoda… why keep your loyal indian fan base bereft of these BASIC features!

Killer pricing. Verna at risk now. Rapid is going to kill Vento.

skoda rapid has stunning looks, this sedan is a class within reach. Yet to know about the performance, but I am sure it will be a hit.

Frns: the real problem with skoda is after sales service and its cost. Spares are too expensive. Skoda truely need to reduce the spare prices. Also the engine noise after 20,000km is very high in FABIA, LAURA n party.
