It looks like everyone wants a pie of Innova’s share. First Mahindra with the Xylo and now Tata with the Indicruz. The Indicruz is based on the Xover concept, which Tata showcassed at the Geneva Motor Show some years back. It uses the same platform as the Tata Safari and will be launched with the 2.2 liter DICOR engine which does duty in the Sumo and the Safari. The Indicruz has witnessed alot of cold weather testing in Sweden and is also being tested on the outskirts of Pune. Tata plans to price the Indicruz around Rs. 9 lakhs, positioning it between the Sumo and Safari.

By the looks.. Tata has a winner in it’s hands. 2.2 dicor engine is one of the best engines around. Just hope that Tata acts quick & has the indicruz launched asap.
