Motorbeam reader Harshad sent us pictures of the upcoming Innova challenger from Tata Motors which he snapped in Pune. The Tata Indicruz is expected to be launched in the first half of 2010 and will use the 2.2L diesel powerplant which does duty in the current Safari.

I really hope design would be nice. If it’s gonna be an Innova challenger, Tata Indicruz needs to be greater than Toyota Innova…Toyota features and specs are fantastic after all.

It has got twin exhausts, so it may be more powerful than safari.
If they manage to provide good quality and spacious interiors as in Innova, its going to be the real challenger. Though Xylo is around being said as the Innova challenger, it doesn’t look good either from front or rear.
However Indicurz from many spyshots seem to look more like Innova, so people would like the design, size and space inside.
