Tata Motors will showcase the much-awaited crossover Indicruz at the 2010 Auto Expo in New Delhi. The 7 seater crossover is expected to be priced around Rs. 6-8 lakh and will hit the markets in the first half of the 2010. Positioned to take on Toyota Innova, Mahindra Xylo and Chevrolet Tavera, the Indicruz will sport a new generation engine, ABS, airbags, alloy wheels, reverse guide system and keyless entry as standard.
Created with extensive design inputs from London-based Tata Motors European Technical Centre (TMETC), the concept vehicle was first showcased at the 75th Geneva Motor Show in 2005. A decision to go ahead with the production was taken a couple of years later and the vehicle design fine-tuned . Vendors for supply of components were then tied up and prototypes readied for testing earlier this year. According to sources, extensive testing of the prototypes is currently underway in western India.

Is this for real!? I really hope this is just a spy picture because design is not good…it’s not pleasing to the eye. Imagine such car in an Auto Expo, I won’t even give it a second look…I can’t begin to imagine what others would think.

it looks similar to innova from the side, but the wheel base are bigger. it might make a good reply from tata.
if the front and back look of the indicruz become same as indica and vista or manza it wont be gud..
