Tata Motors plans to launch an electric version of the Indica in the Indian as well as overseas market simultaneously by end of next year. The company has been developing the electric Indica Vista with a Norwegian firm for launch in the British, Norwegian and Danish markets by 2011, which will mark the global launch of the car.
