Surely i am not saying that the Swift is a better car. While the swift is a good car it does lack in terms of fit and finish and majorly in terms of built quality. Maruti makes some great engines, yes it does but only petrol engines, wheras Tata makes neither of them as well. The New Tata Safari does have a very very good engine though, the 2.2VTT. The current Honda Civic does not have a centrally placed instrument panel. I am really cheering for Tata to make their cars better. The Maruti Swift is quite cramped at the rear, no denying that and the Indica gives you more car for your money, but only if Tata had not used the easy way out with the central instrument cluster the car would be a bit better. I am not saying its bad, i was just a little disappointed since Tata have delayed the launch more then a year. As far as service goes, nothing comes close to a Maruti and this is no cliche, i really mean it Maruti service is the best in the country. I will be test driving the car soon and will review it, we can then conclude how good the car is.
