Tata To Launch Indica Vista Ignis

Suzuki might get cross with Tata, but Tata Motors is finally thinking of safety for the masses. Tata wil be launching the Indica Vista Ignis, which will be the top end variant of the Indica Vista and will have more features than the Aura. The Indica Ignis will get a more powerful 1.4 litre petrol engine straight from the Fiat Grande Punto. The engine produces 95PS of power, which is 5 up on the Punto. The new variant is expected to cost around Rs. 5 lakhs (ex-showroom, Mumbai).

The Ignis gets wider 175/65 R14 Goodyear GT3 tires and comes equipped with dual SRS airbags. The dashboard has been slightly reworked with Bluetooth connectivity and USB port in the music system. The steering wheel is redesigned to accommodate the airbags and steering mounted audio controls. Other features in the Indica Vista Ignis include electrically adjustable outside rear view mirrors, keyless entry and ABS.
