The Toyota Etios sedan was spotted in Chandigarh by Motopsyche. At First look, it closely resembled a Logan, but on close observation it was confirmed to the upcoming Toyota Etios. The Etios was first showcased at the Auto Expo 2010 and will be released in both sedan and hatch forms. It is likely to be powered by a petrol engine and Toyota is ‘considering’ a diesel engine.
Its surprising that Toyota is still in ‘consideration’ phase as far as a diesel mill is concerned. The Etios is likely to be priced around 7 lakhs for the sedan and about 5 lakhs for the hatch. If these spy pictures are anything to go by, the Etios is undoubtedly the worst looking Toyota car in India.
