Volkswagen plans to launch the new Jetta in India in April, 2011. The company plans to strengthen its premium offerings in the country after the successful introduction of the volume players Polo and Vento. The 2011 Jetta is an entirely new vehicle design and share no components with the Golf. It will be locally assembled and the German automaker has no plans to locally produce the Jetta yet, unless ofcourse it sees volumes to justify the move.

Jeet, new Jetta by June 2011. Price will be similar to the current Jetta’s.
