VW is planning to launch the Passat CC in India. The CC in the Passat CC stands for comfort coupe and though this exactly isint a coupe. Its a 4 door saloon which has the looks and appeal of a coupe and can seat only 4. It does look beautiful and fifth gear recently compared it to the Mercedes-Benz CLS and were impressed with the CC.

The current Passat sold in India looks very bland, thats what we feel and with the launch of the CC it will become much more desirable. Surely it wont be easy for VW to lure prospective BMW buyers but looking at this car i am sure many would fall for it. When it does make it here it will come with a 2.0 TDi engine which produces 170bhp and a mindblowing torque of 350NM. We estimate the cost to be around 32 lacs on the road.
