Seat Ibiza Spied Testing In India

Volkswagen India has been testing the Seat Ibiza for some time now and we happened to spot it in Mumbai. Clicking pictures did not really please the driver of the Ibiza and he swore and tried to run away. He even tried desperate attempts to evade us by braking hard and even stopping in no mans land. But we were quick to follow and snap the Seat.

The Seat Ibiza is basically a Volkswagen Polo underneath and Volkswagen seems to be benchmarking the engines and doing reliability tests on the Ibiza. The new Polo will be launched at the 2010 Auto Expo.

Just saw the same Ibiza on Mumbai Pune highway. I did not recognize the name Ibiza and a google search brought me to your site so thought I would share my comment.
