Volkswagen Commences Polo Production In India

Volkswagen has started production of its first car in India as a Polo rolled off the lines at Volkswagen’s factory in Pune on Saturday. The $846.8 million investment in manufacturing facility can produce up to 110,000 cars a year and will help the German automaker to capture up to 10% of the country’s fast growing automobile market within the next six years.
